Meet Suzanna Mouton

Suzanna Mouton, LPC

Suzanna Mouton

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you got to the other side of pain? Have you ever thought about how it would feel to be free from fear, self-sabotage, regret or whatever is holding you  back? Do you desire to live happy and joyous and free? Most people do but have no idea how to get  there. That is where I come in, to help you overcome painful blocks that prevent you from being the person you were created to be, to enable you to live your life to the fullest.

My counseling style is person-centered so I would classify myself as eclectic with a collaborative approach. This means we will work together to design a treatment plan that meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go. I have extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive and Family systems. Therefore, we will have a variety of interventions and tools to support you on your journey.

I have over fifteen years of experience working with individuals from elementary age to older children, teenagers, octogenarians, families. I enjoy working with clients with special needs, families with a chronic diagnosis,  abusive relationships, divorce, depression, and anxiety. I also have had great success working with  those suffering from substance abuse. My life experiences and the vast experience that I have gained through my career as a teacher, psychotherapist, and crisis counselor gives me a unique perspective to life and the counseling process.

My passion is to motivate others to success and happiness using my courage, creativity, and wisdom. Are you ready to begin your journey to be the person you were born to be?
