Daymar Blanco, LPC-A


Hi, my name is Daymar Blanco and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Houston-Downtown. I went on to complete my masters of education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston-Victoria.
I have experience in working in agency setting as well as private practice. My clients range from children, adolescents, young adults and adults. My experience has involved working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, life transitions, and identity.
I’m passionate about my work and establishing a framework of acceptance, empathy, and compassion. I prioritize creating this safe space in order to empower my clients. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and some skills of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I emphasize with my client to empower strengths and self-awareness in order to create change, growth, and increase self-worth. I value the opportunity to join clients on their journey.
